cycle 2, part 8

for this video,
i initially got a description of the last 10 seconds
(which i found extremely puzzling) and then later got
the full video, after i had done most of my shooting and editing.

in her description, she mentioned something about a girl
holding something in her hand. so i decided to play with that
and create and/or document a physical space - a hands-on space.
now what can be more hands on than a bathroom huh? haha

i know there have been a lot of faucet shots,
but, i'd have to argue that mine is definitely the beeeest. lol
i tried to use the concept of "strangeness" and take shots of
places and things in the restroom that can seem odd and or
strangely beautiful under different circumstances (?)

the result was basically a meshing of images and sounds that
i sort of moved around and shifted in order to create a kind of backing
"soundtrack" to this porcelain frontier. i also used clips of audio from
chelsea's video to better tie her part to mine.

overall, a coool piece i think.
