our initial idea was to create a video that experimented and dealt primarily with
the focal point and the resulting background depth that related to it.
we wanted to follow an individual figure and keep the focus on him or her moving
toward the camera. in order to do this, we decided that we would need a long, empty
hallway. the 2nd floor of the Preby's music building served as a perfect locale.
2nd, we figured that we would need some sort of dollie or steady cam in order
to keep the 3d camera from shaking around and creating an unintended "cloverfield"
ride in stomache wrenching 3d.
all in all, the project went well. we all struggled with a variety of different ideas and
add-ons, but decided in the end to keep it simple, seeing that the media being used
was not so reliable (and as previous class experiences would dictate, would most likely
crash on us at least a couple of times). luckily everything went smoothly for our group.
we encountered very little difficulty except for in editing and rendering time. though it
wasn't the easiest project in the world, compared to the other groups, ours was a breeze.
turned out great tooo!
