inspiration

recently, my apartment has been receiving overblown charges on our water bill.
our usual monthly average is around 40 to 50 dollars. but for some reason our
last couple bills have been in the 100's. this past month it was around 180-190.
totally and completely ridiculous. we called the water company several times and
they keep on giving weird excuses, the most recent of which is that our water meter
is broken. we then turned to the apartment complex office in the hopes that they
could fix the problem. so, my apartment mate and i went down a couple weeks
ago and showed the man at the head office our billing graph which had risen
exponentially. he told us it was stupid and definitely over the top and would get
to the bottom of it. a week later ... and still nothing. we've gone down a couple of
times and we still haven't gotten a solution to the problem. yet, we've been paying
the crazy bills hoping that when whatever is wrong gets fixed, we'll be re embersed.
nevertheless, its something that has been on my mind and annoying me to no end.
haha. i.e. i've been thinking about water a lot these past few weeks ...
